Blessings In Disguise

Past experiences

Embedded in our minds

Of situations we

Encountered during our lives

If taught to our children

While they're young

Could very well be

Blessings in disguise.

Making children aware of

Situations that are bad

Teaching them to recognize

Those that are good

Just knowing our past

Experiences helped them

Should implant

Smiles on our faces

For reasons easily understood.
