All those promises you made that never came true

It's taken me awhile but at last I've realized

Your words of love were just deceitful lies.

My close friends tried to warn me about you

Deep inside my heart I knew their words were true

But like a fool I was blind and fell for your line

Or maybe I didn't want to see the warning signs..

Perhaps love is blind like many people say

But like each morning Sun chases darkness away

It presents another chance for broken hearts to mend_
