When good things happen

I need someone to share

My happiness with me

A good friend

Who I know cares.

When things go wrong

I need to know

My good friend is near

To comfort me

And wipe away my tears.

If my good friend needs me

I'll be near

To comfort them

And wipe away their tears.

For each other

That's what good friends do....
