When my front tooth fell out
Grandpa told me not to worry
That a new tooth would soon grow back
I sure hope it will hurry
Because right now I'm ashamed to smile
And that's an honest fact.
One good thing did happen though
The Tooth Fairy visited me last night
She placed a dollar under my pillow
So all and all I guess I'll be okay
If my new tooth will grow back right.
Grandma showed me a picture
Of my Mama when she was eight
Mama looked just like I do
Because she was missing
A front tooth too!
I feel better now.
