My young friend if you've been listening
To some of the old folks
Telling anyone who'll listen
About how good it used to be.
And the next time something bad happens
Causing you to believe your life is a pain
You might find yourself wishing
You could step back in time
To those good old days.
If this happens please stop and remember
The life you have is a blessing
So accept the time you've been given
Because going back to another time
