Those Happy Moments

Walking with the love of my life

Holding her soft hand in mine,

Enjoying the beauty of wildflowers

Is making both of us feel fine.

Listening to her silly giggles

At funny little things I say,

Knowing I'm making her happy

Is surely making my day.

Stopping at our favorite park

We'll sit in the swings for awhile

Maybe I'll mention our courting days

Because I know it'll make her smile.

Well__ our evening walk is over now

A special day in our lives has passed

But one thing both of us know for sure__

Those happy moments won't be our last.
