Just For Me

On my evening walk

I watched the trees

Dancing to tunes

Created by the

Howling winds.

All these wonders there_

Seemingly_just for me.

Colorful reflections

Streaking across

Darken pond waters

Were completely ignored by

Two playful Swans.

All these wonders there_

Seemingly_just for me.

I stood in awe

As Mother Nature

Showered her

Western sky

With assorted colors.

All these wonders there_

Seemingly_just for me.

Facination engulfed me

Those last few moments before

Daylight completely surrendered

To the night.

All these wonders there_

Seemingly_just for me.

In a distance

I saw a light

Shining on my porch

My heart felt warm

Because I knew__

That light was a beacon

To guide me safely home.

I knew someone who loved me

Turned it on_just for me...
