Everyone Needs

A Friend

She loves her horses

And she loves her home

Her friends live far away

But she has her horses

To keep her from being alone.

Her Mom and Dad love her

She knows her horses do too

But she still feels lonely

She can't figure out

Why she feels so blue.

One day a friend visited her

And all of her blues went away

She didn't feel lonely anymore

Smiling to herself she realized

It takes friends to makes our day.

Everyone needs a friend.
