My Smiles Will Light

The Day

My emotions are stressed out

I'm backed against the wall

It's getting cloudy outside

Soon rain might begin to fall.

But if I work my problems out

All my troubles will fade away

The Sun can rest for a while

My smiles will light the day.

I'll build a strong foundation

Near where a rainbow touches land

One that rain can never tear down

And any stress it can withstand.
