I  cannot get caught up
No matter how hard I try
I t is impossible for me to believe
How fast time is passing by.

Days are turning into weeks
In the blink of an eye
Before I realize it
Another year will pass by.

If I possibly do get caught up
I wonder what my reaction will be
When and if that day does come
I doubt I will live long enough to see.

Oh No! My wife just informed me
The lawn needs mowing today
Just a little more proof I won't live
Long enough to see a caught up day.
