If it was possible
to stay young forever
Wrinkles would never appear on your face
You would
not need a calendar anymore
Keeping track of time would be a waste.
All the stars in a nighttime sky
You would have time to name each
one
You could count each leaf on every tree
Because dying time you would
have none.
But just think if you became an immortal
Eventually all
of your loved ones would die
Wouldn't tears forever fall from your eyes
Or
would you forget how to cry?
