Today it is hot with no rain in sight
Most likely tomorrow will be like today
Hopefully soon the weather will change
Chasing all of this hot weather away.
But last year when it was cold outside
I wished spring would chase winter away
Replacing winter cold with fresh spring air
And joyful sounds of children outside at play.
From now on I'll accept the weather God sends
Dealing with it day by day as best I can
Because he created this beautiful world
And has watched over it since time began.
And he's watching over me....
I accept what tomorrow brings....
