Feeling Good
Inside

A colorful sunrise
Awakens the day
And drinks away
Early morning dew
As a humming bird
From flowers
Sucks out
His nectar fill.

A man and his wife
Holding hands
Exchanging smiles
Walks by
On a morning stroll.

I quietly stand
Inhaling and exhaling
The cool morning air
Feeling good inside
Knowing I'm prepared
To face the challenges
Of a new day.
