A Free People

Our fore fathers were inspired
When our Constitution they wrote
Because it is filled with words
Of wisdom and everlasting hope.

Sometimes bad things happen
Things we cannot understand
But if we all stand together
Our safety will become safe again.

Evil forces we have faced before
Attempting to take our freedoms away
But our countrymen stood side by side
And made the evils forces pay.

Dark clouds sometimes hide our sun
But eventually the clouds disappear
If all of us stand together as one
Soon there will be no evil to fear.

Because we are a free people.....
