To Last

Stormy weather in our lives
Thankfully is clearing fast
Both of us are realizing
Our love was meant to last.

Yesterdays problems are gone
Our lonely cold nights too
Again you are there for me
And I am there for you.

Night skies without stars
Would be hard to comprehend
And if our worlds separated
Our happiness would end.

Let the sun rise and set
After today we have tomorrow
No matter what we are ready
To face happiness or sorrow.
