I WONDER?
I WONDER if trees are sad when
Their leaves fall to
the ground
Is it possible they are crying
Without making outward
sounds?
I WONDER if our children realize
The future will
be in their hands
And do they understand it has
Been that way since time
began?
I WONDER if we have done enough
To make our
children's future bright
Providing the security they need
To never cry out
in fright at night?
I WONDER if tomorrow I will know
The guidance I
gave my children today
Will help them to find happiness
As they travel
down life's highway?
I WONDER?
