My last thoughts before going to sleep
Are thoughts of the night you and I met
A memory my heart and mind will keep
Of a night impossible for me to forget.
No two snowflakes are exactly the same
And no one makes me feel like you do
You are the sunshine that lights my day
My outlook on life changed when I met you.
You have replaced my despair with hope
And given me purpose to continue on
Your loving me has awakened my ambition
Darling, you have made a weak man strong.
