Family Love Is A Special Kind

Each Christmas season
we have grown a year older
Father Time is replacing once dark hair with
white
But memories of long ago years our mind retains
Of our children's
plays on Christmas Eve night.
Now grandchildren
have taken our children's places
Our children sit with us watching their
Children's plays
Sometimes during the plays we can see tears in their
eyes
Probably because they're remembering their childhood
days.
Passing years
can place wrinkles on faces and turn hair white
But one thing passing
years cannot ever take away
Is the love of a father and mother for their
children
Because it is a special kind of love that will always
stay.
Family love is a special kind....
