About Yourself...I Think

Have you ever felt like running away
And leaving all your troubles behind
Lots of people have until they realized
They'd find troubles of a different kind.

Eventually your past would catch up with you
Bill collectors would pound on your door
Your new life would abruptly come to an end
You'd find yourself poorer than you were before.

Let's face it life has it's ups and downs
Best thing to do is ride with the tide
Sometimes the going isn't rough as you believe
But if your ship sinks, at least you've tried.

You'll feel better about yourself...I think.
