If my heart could speak

It'd be lost for words

Because phrases can't see

what flies above birds

If my heart had ears

No sound would enter

Locked hearts are steady

Like cold in winter

If my heart could see

Thick dark would cover

Blindness and shadows

Black clouds that hover

If my heart could smell

Scentless it would be

No aroma of flowers

Or sweet smells of honey

If my heart could taste

The tongue would be dull

To try out a candy

Or ice-cream so cool

But my heart can feel

Though we're far apart

It senses the love

that comes from your heart

Because miles can't stop

What a person feels
