This Goes For
Everything Else

With the weather
Hot as it is today
I'm sitting in front
Of my air conditioner
And Wishing
It was snowing outside
But I can recall
Back when snow
Covered the ground
I was sitting
In front of my heater
Wishing
Warm weather would
Come and
Melt the snow away.

Sounds to me
Like it's hard
For me to
Make up my mind
I guess I want
My cake and
Eat it too
It appears I need to
Learn the meaning
Of being satisfied
And start accepting
The weather
One day at a time.

   Everything else....
