When my
teacher catches me looking out the window
I can't understand why she always
gets mad with me
And always tells me to get my mind back on my work
When
she knows there's lots of things outside to see.
Tomorrow I'll surprise
her and keep my eyes on her
She won't know my mind will be a million miles
away
I hope if she has a question she won't call on me
If she does I won't
know what to say.
One thing worrying me is
when report card day comes
If I don't get busy my grades are going to be
bad
I hate to think about what my Pa and Ma would say
So from now on if
teacher calls on me I'll be glad.
Because I'm turning over a new leaf....
