Amen and Goodnight

Dear Jesus I really need:
To talk to you tonight
Because today nothing
For me came out right.

I saw a pretty doll
I wanted really bad
But my Mom told me
I'd have to ask my dad.

When Dad came home
I met him at the door
He said I had enough dolls
And don't need anymore.

Dear Jesus if I'm selfish
Please tell me what to do
I'll respect your wishes
Because you know I love you.
