Hearts And Souls

A warm fire can warm your body
But the warmth cannot reach your heart and soul
Your giving and receiving love
Is the warmth that takes away their cold.

Earthly treasures you might have gained
Can buy many earthly material things
But love coming from your heart and soul
Is unequaled in the happiness it brings.

Many treasures in life can be had for free
Helping those who are unfortunate and in need
Will restore hope in their hopeless hearts
And you will feel in your heart and soul
A special warmth for doing a good deed.
