It Is Time For
Me To Change

Doubts have replaced my trust
Of reaching goals I have set
Have I been blinded by greed
For treasures I will never get?

Have I forgotten I am a mortal
That one day my life will end
Have I waited too long for my
Chance a normal life to begin?

I must forget impossible dreams
And once again join the human race
Hopefully then one day not far away
I will find my rightfully place.

Somewhere living like others do
Reaching goals possible to attain
And allowing my impossible dreams
Each day a little more to wane.

It is time for me to change.....
