Sometimes two flowers growing side by side
One will flourish and the other one will die
In some ways our lives are like the flowers
Some of us throughout our lives are fortunate
While others everyday have reasons to cry.
Those of us surrounded by love and wealth
Sometimes lack understanding of being poor
If those who are fortunate opened their hearts
And gave love and assistance to those in need
Everyone would be happier than they were before.
Perhaps the little flower that wilted and died
Would have lived had it received proper care
Makes me believe our lives could be the same
Because giving will make us feel good inside
This anyone can find out if they will share.
Because giving is better than receiving..
