These Are My Dreams
Tears often dampen our eyes when we are sad
Happy moments sometimes dampen our eyes too
Our emotions are displayed in many ways
Often they control the things we say and do.
Wouldn't it be grand if no one displayed anger
If war between nations never happened again
All those in need were given a helping hand?
Everyone would be happier since life began.
Sad tears would fall when we lost a loved one
But no tears would fall because of hunger pain
No child would have hopelessness in their eyes
Peace and happiness would be everyone's gain.
These are my dreams....
