I Bet Someone Will I wish I could go back a ways in time To a time life seemed to move slow A time instead of watching television We enjoyed watching our flowers grow. A time neighbors would be smiling And saying hello as they walked by A time going barefooted was fun to do Even if sand spurs often made us cry. A time cars were few and far between Only a few of us had a phone in our home Money for a movie was hard to come by Those good old days sadly are now gone. A thought just popped into my mind I wonder if someone in the future will say They wish they could travel back in time To this time we are living in today? I bet someone will..... Ralph L.
