A Train Whistle Blows
The freight train moved Slowly down the track He jumped from the boxcar All his gear in a battered sack.
He looked towards the East Then he looked towards the West Not knowing which direction To go will suit him the best.
Teary eyed he's remembering What happened to his dear wife That terrible night thieves came And took her life with a knife.
When they took her from him They took everything he had All his dreams shattered, now All his days and nights are sad.
He looked towards the East Then he looked towards the West Not knowing which direction To go will suit him the best.
A train whistle blows.
