In My Heart

If I could write a song
I would write one just for you
My words would let you know
I appreciate the things you do.

Those times I have a bad day
You always offer a helping hand
No matter how tired you might be
You smile and help anyway you can.

I can't imagine what I would do
If one day your life comes to an end
My loneliness would be unbearable
Life without you I can't comprehend.

I realize how fortunate I am
Knowing the love you have for me
A song I don't have the ability to write
But my love for you will always be.
