But I Do Know

It's hard for me to believe
How fast my life Is passing by
Until I think about happenings
That made me laugh or cry.

It's easier to recall good times
Than those times that were sad
But strangely when I think about It
Most sad times weren't so bad.

Things I've learned have helped
Me become the person I am today
But I still have a long ways to go
To improve myself in every way.

The time I have left in my life
There's no possible way to know
But I do know it's entirely up to me
If I use this time wisely and grow.
