My Only Queen

I never say honey, but
that you already know.
I have never been one that
goes along with the flow.

Darling my feelings for you
hopefully you can understand.
I'm too shy to announce them
In front of a brass band.

Sometimes I say things in anger,
I hope you know I didn't mean.
Darling, please believe in my heart
You will always be my queen.

I need to think before acting
and that I will begin trying to do.
Perhaps, then you will realize
My heart belongs only to you.
