Taking Away My Despair

When my problems mount up

And answers I cannot find

The worst thing I could do

Is hold these troubles in my mind.

I'm fortunate having a friend

Who will listen and understand

I can feel my friends compassion

Trying to help solve my problems at hand.

No matter what we finally decide

I always feel better knowing he's there

Giving me his unconditional support

Helping take away my despair.
