So Happy, So Glad

How I wish each phase of my life

could be like the chapters in a book,

making it possible to thumb back

at anytime and take a second look.

To bring to life special memories

like those I have of Mom and Dad,

to see their loving faces once again

would make me so happy, so glad...

To relive the wonderful moments

of meeting my future bride, feeling

my first rush of love for her, a love

still growing with her by my side.

The door to my past is closed now,

I can't relive those chapters of my life.

So many of those I loved are gone, but

beside me still is my love, my wife.

And I am so happy, so glad.
