It's nice to recall

memories of long ago,

back when time

seemed to move slow.

If I could go back,

I wonder what I would do.

Would it be possible

my mistakes to undo?

Would I feel the same way,

or become another guy?

Would everything change

like a darkening sky?

Would I sit and dream

or become a doer of deeds?

Would I still have desire

and ambition to succeed?

I've finally decided

what I have now is best,

I'll begin a new chapter

and put the past to rest.
