Let us just forget yesterday

Words wouldn't help anyway

Would only cause more pain

For us there would be no gain.

In each other we should trust

For a firm foundation we must

So if you love me like I do you

Forget yesterday and I will too.

We still have time left today

To plan how to mend our ways
